Neal Preston is an iconic figure in rock photography, capturing on film such music legends as Queen, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, and many, many others for half a century. He cemented his legacy as Led Zeppelin’s exclusive tour photographer from 1975 to 1979. His lensmanship extends into cinema, notably collaborating with his long-time friend, writer and director Cameron Crowe. The duo’s real-life adventures inspired the film ‘Almost Famous’. Beyond the visual realms, Neal has written several books, including ‘Exhilarated and Exhausted’, a captivating photographic memoir chronicling his unparalleled journey through music history.
